Web and Graphic Designer Developer/Designer

L&P Media is looking for an experienced Web and Graphic Designer Developer/Designer Please visit our Web Site at www.lpmedia.net for more information. The role of the Web and Graphic Designer/Developer is very hands-on; you will be intimately involved in all design and production aspects related to the site or video and work closely with the project manager, client and programming staff.
Requirements:
- At least 3+ years of solid proven professional graphic design, development in the web and print medium.
- Demonstrated creative capabilities in various mediums on client based projects.
- Completed at least 2 years of formal education in design or related field.
- Flash and Motion graphic experience is a must
- Video editing experience is a big plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Must possess excellent communication skills and proven history of working independently and in a team.
- Possess a strong understanding of UI and information architecture
- Must demonstrate professional quality and creativity to business clients
- Must have in-depth knowledge of, Quark, HTML, Adobe tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, and Motion.
- Proven ability to work with Open Source CMS such as Joomla or WordPress
- Proven knowledge and experience with Cascading Style sheets (CSS), Java Script, accessibility standards, understand web usability as well as possess a willingness to learn new and innovative design technologies.
- Possess an understanding of web servers, FTP
- Strong ability for web site maintenance web site maintenance
- Must have prior experience in developing web sites, flash and motion graphics, interactive CD/DVD’s, and professional Videos and possess an ability to work in a team environment
- Must possess a desire to learn every day.

Web and Applications Programmer

L&P Media is looking for an experienced Web and Applications programmer.
Requirements:
- Excellent client & team communication skills and demonstrated time management abilities
- At least 5 years of working experience
- An excellent understanding of: .Net and, DLL, SQL, XML, HTML
- Previous experience in Server side programming in the following: ASP, PHP or Cold Fusion. SQL databases management and development, .Net 2.0+, classic ASP, and PHP programming is quite common; you would be expected to have mastered those areas, you will use them daily.
- Strong skills in designing, modifying, developing, implementing & managing software applications.
- Experience developing and maintaining CMS systems and XML middleware.
- Communicate with and help to manage client relationships.
- Write & review technical documentation, system architecture and document Q/A.
- Ability to take customer business needs and convert them into technical documents and solutions.
- Proven abilities to design, build, and maintain relational databases, as well as -write code for database access, modifications, and constructs, including stored procedures.
- Demonstrated abilities in managing and maintaining public and internal WEB (IIS), SQL, SMTP, Exchange and DNS servers at peak operating performance.
- Demonstrated ability in time management, tracking and leading a development team, to successful conclusion.
- Proven history in supporting and managing security protocols, documentation and various software applications.
